Yankees have an easier run of games compared to the Bosox the next two weeks. Yankees can make a move and they know it. I don't bet sports ever but if I did I would consider playing them the next two weeks. Chacon looks straightened out and should reclaim his fifth starter spot. My good buddy is real tight with a certain Yankee skipper. Ponson didn't want to go to the pen in St Louis but as the Yankees are his last shot, they may attempt to make him the middle reliever that they are lacking and he could be VERY effective in that role and to bring in if a pitcher is getting rocked early in the game. Cano will be back soon, and Cabrera is rookie of the year who is getting better with every game. I havent seen a cannon of an arm like that by a left fielder in my life and hes hitting now as well. Yanks are playoff bound, only question is which team they knock off, Bo Sox or Chi sox, my strong bet is that they finish ahead of both.

MILKY CABRERA is gunna be the rookie of the year? Do they always vote an everyday player in,or do they sometimes vote for a pitcher? Did Fernando V. get it in '81?

Scuds that guy is hitting the cover off the bal, making spectacular grabs, and was tied for the lead in assists by an outfielder even though he didnt start playing until late may. His arm is a CANNON!!!!!!! The other day in the Toronto game he made a laser throw from the left field wall that one hopped about 8 feet from first base. The announcers were laughing and they kept replaying it and Singleton just kept going WOW! Hes a star and a half in the making. The greatest thing that happened to Yanks was the injuries and forcing that kid to dive into the fray. Hes now salty and seasoned with confidence. Trust me I may be a huge Yankee fan but I always tell it like it is. When they suffered all those injuries and I was watching Green, Crosby, Cairo, Phillips and Cabrera take the field while Boston was winning 16 out of 17 games i was physically ill, I wanted to vomit. How they are only 2 1/2 games out is a major miracle. Oh, and did I mention that they have 23 games remaning agaisnt Tampa bay and the Orioles who they absolutely own?
Forget it, you like to bet Scuds Forget about the AL West. Just take every penny you have and bet the Yankees to win the East. They are a bigger lock than anything I have ever seen. its not a matter of who its only a matter of how many.
