Moore Dubai team boosted by Lizard Island by Edward Prosser AIDAN O'BRIEN'S Railway Stakes winner Lizard Island has been sold privately to join Stan Moore and will spearhead his nine-strong assault on next year's Dubai Carnival. The Danehill Dancer juvenile, who won the Curragh Group 2 by three-quarters of a length from South Dakota, went on to chase home Rio De La Plata in the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood. “He's been bought by Fitri Hay and arrived with us two days ago. He is a good addition to the team. He'll probably head to Dubai in early January and we've got a team of nine who will be targeted at the carnival,” saidMoore. Also heading to Dubai is another ex-Ballydoyle inmate in Yellowstone, who was bought for 520,000gns at the recent Newmarket Horses In Training Sale, plus Snoqualmie Boy, who cost 75,000gns at the same event, Azarole, Dubai Builder, Final Verse, Impeller, Nepotista and Traffic Guard. “All except Impeller are rated 100 or more so we've got a very strong team,” added Moore. “Yellowstone will probably just run on Super Thursday and then go for the Sheema Classic.”
