Thanks so much to everyone for the warm birthday wishes... I appreciate it a great deal. Given all the thank you's for 'what I do' is making me wonder if.. maybe.. 'I've done enough'...

Everyone here has made the past year a whirlwind ride and I thank all for that. As a group, I think we've collectively achieved a great deal with the stable and as a venue seeking to grow the popularity of racing. I never expected to be given the opportunity to do what I've been doing the past couple of years, and none of it would have happened without everyone's generous support and encouragement. So to borrow a line from Lou Gehrig, "today I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the earth."

A little belated, but yes, happy birthday Steve.

Now that Wire2wire isn't on ESPN anymore, this is the best source for horse racing info around. Happy Birthday and Happy Thxgiving.
