This is true, but I thank him for doing so. More dead money in the win pool.

I see Hystericalady is cross entered...

I really like her in the Distaff.

There is a monster (literally) in this race, and she goes by the name of Unbridled Belle.

Will anything dare get in her way?

Hope she wins this.

yeah, she's my most likely winner on the card and i've liked her as my bc selection since the spring. taking that into account, plus that i need her to win to win the tvg contest, and that dorf is pretty stupid, i have a bad feeling she'll run in a stupid spot like the sprint.

Am I reading this right? As in.. 'Jerry Hollendorfer doesn't know how to spot his stock'? I'd have to disagree.

You are reading that right, but perhaps I overstated things a bit.

While I generally agree with you about him spotting his stock, it's when he gets a top class animal that he seems to short circuit.

It won't happen from the 12 spot.

looking at the geometry of the race, it seems pretty obvious that HL will be able to over and not get hung out 8 wide.

i could be wrong though. there are jockeys involved.

I couldn't have been further from the right one here. To think we didnt even throw a saver bet on the horse with my favorite jock on her. Damn me, damn, damn, damn me. My little brother went nuts when he seen that RB was on the rail fighting back, he looked at me out of the corner of his eye in disgust as we didnt even have her on one of our bets. Live and learn. Congratulations to those that backed her.

It made for an awesome race! One of the day's best. To think Bejarano piloted a qualified horse like her and we missed. If we hadnt been up so much before that, my brother would not be talking to me right now.

I can't speak for Andy -- but I think it had much less to do with her having "one off race," and much more to do with the fact that her several "on" races were incredibly unsinspiring and go a long way towards making her a big toss tomorrow.

Ummm I don't know about you but her Go For Wand victory was VERY VERY impressive

http://www.nyra.com/Saratoga/Broadca...esRaces.shtml#

and her Ruffian win was very solid.

But I don't know how you can claim that her Go For Wand victory was uninspriring.

I assume you will be holding Teammate in highest regard tomorrow afternoon.

Sorry if I'm not that impressed with her running off with wins over Teammate and Miss Shop in one race, and then.....Teammate and Miss Shop in her next race.

Stalking Teammate on the lead at Saratoga and pulling away from her in the stretch doesn't get my pulse racing.

And stalking Take D'Tour when she's running guns blazing on the front end, taking over when she tires, and then fending off....Teammate and Miss Shop isn't really what I'm looking for in trying to find a BC winner.

And I owe you a wee bit for helping on my cashing my only ticket of the whole day. When I went home Friday night, I was looking through my TG sheets and got scared by her numbers, but still didn't really like her. I tossed her in at the last minute on a pick-3 starting on that leg (though I really liked Hystericalady), and it ended up being the only wager I cashed on the entire day.

Good call.
