Maybe in a traditional sense but the fact is that the 'midmajor' type teams like Cincy and Rutgers are a lot better than their history suggests. The smaller teams have caught up and with spread offenses and scholarship reductions and the fact that almost every major conference game is televised means that kids can go to a mid major type and play and get exposure as opposed to the old days where they would rot on a big teams bench.
