Don't go brand new, get 1 that's maybe 1 or 2 years old, low miles, still with most of manufact. waranty. I myself have been eyeballing the Chrysler 300's.

Thanks guys. Scuds, I actually got a quote on a VW Rabbit today. 18K fully loaded including sunroof. Not bad, I always liked the "new car smell".

I have been very happy with the 3 VW's I have owned so I am leaning towards a VW. Also looking at a few used Saabs and Hondas.

Gotta jet. I'll tell ya Tim, lay down 2 or 3 grand as a deposit on a QUALITY USED car from someone you trust. Go this route if you plan on keeping this vehicle for more then 2 years, General Motors. 1 REASON, the expense of repair and parts. General Motors are cheaper HANDS DOWN for many reasons to fix and repair. Anyone that tries to tell you different IS A LIAR! I know this to be fact. I made my living in this business for just shy of 8 years, I know what I speak of.

A great vehicle at a great price, including the potential repairs down the road, etc?

Monte Carlo or Impala. Good luck Tim, pm me if ya have any questions, I got unexpected company right now so this is a rushed message.

Curt

VW is a quality vehicle, so are Honda's but the minute you got a problem get ready to get raped.

used for sure. Honda's have had probs lately especially trans probs. I'd go with a Grand Am or Grand Prix but not the GT's. (premium gas) should be able to find a GP with less than 20 K for less than 15K. Under fac. war.
