What? Are you smoking crack? 6-11 now in their last 17......having a good QB and an All-Pro receiver doesn't make you a good team. This team was lit up for 51 points by Cleveland.

"Marvin Lewis' job is not in trouble"

Yeah....sure. His problem was he turned them around early and created expectations. He's supposed to be a defensive guru and this team can't tackle anybody.

"Will this team go 16-0" (Kornheiser asking Jaworski). Instead of answering, which is what he's paid to do, Jaws stammered and said.....ah I don't know. Would it be difficult to say, no they have very little chance of going 16-0 (which IS a fact)? Jaws is pretty good in his analysis but he dropped the ball there.
I think they did a good job. Hard to find something to talk about for 3 hours during a blow-out. And I don't mind Jaws not answering the question about the Pats going 16-0. He isnt a fortune teller. He answered, I don't know. That was his answer. And Marvin Lewi's job isnt in jeopardy. Their last two #1 picks are out on defense, Pollack and Thurman, their starting running back was out, their starting left tackle was out, they only had 2 linebackers healthy and they have been with the team for 1 month, their number 3 receiver is out..the Bengals are not good, but they would be better if they were healthy.

Jaws is the best thing MNF has done in recent memory.

Tune down the TV volume and put on the radio. Marv Albert and Boomer Esiason are as good as any. You have to be a glutton for punishment to listen to that ESPN crew for 3 hours.

I tried that last week but the radio station had like a 10 second delay and it was really tough to watch then listen to the same play.

Mine's not that far off. Maybe 3-4 seconds. Maybe if you sat a little farther away from the radio ....

This would work. According to my calculations. If one was off by
3-4 seconds, say 3.5, that would be 3.5s times 343 m/s (approximate speed of sound in air) which means you would have to sit about 1200 meters away. Thats about 3/4 of a mile. But you would have to turn the way volume up... and need a long extension cord should you choose to sit in your house and move the radio outside. Or one could try this:

Attachment 549

This approach could put you in a parallel universe, and then anything goes.
Do not try this at home without my supervision. I have experience.
