God that was really, really bad.
Clausen has all these plays on his arm band
and they cant even block or snap the ball.

Back to basics. Weis thinks he was
inheriting a Patriot type organization. These
are kids, they have to be taught.... and they
got like 40,000 offensive plays?

I still like Weis, he seems like a good guy, but
blocking and tackling, not fumbling, snapping the
ball. If a kid cannot shotgun snap, you dont shotgun
snap. Basics first...

That was really awful.

I cannot believe I was rooting for Meatchicken today, but I hate ND even more.

Problem is, they could go until Nov, beat Navy for their first win, and go to #15, simply because they are ND. Pisses me off every year.

You think we will ever see an end of "Notre Dame Central" from NBC?

No. They get huge ratings. It's a big money maker for both ND and NBC.

nbc is about done with it. they only resigned that contract for 2-3 years and for the same or less money per year. i don't usually watch much of nd but this year, they are such a train wreck you have to watch, so nbc is getting ratings on that factor alone.

Reason why Michigan didn't score in the 4th quarter:

a. They put thier cheerleaders in

b. They put in people from frat houses

c. They randomly selected people from the stands to play

d. IrishofNDman begged for some mercy

e. All of the above

Problem is that Notre Dame owns the NBC affiliate in South Bend (WNDU). Contract will be extended and extended and they will never join a conference ever. It stinks, but they got the advantage.

Plus they are already promoting the MSU game next week.

It doesn't suprise me they are afraid of joining a conference. If they joined they would have to share revenue and the Catholic church needs all the money they can get to pay off all these lawsuits. Also ND would more than likely have at least 3 loses a year, more than likely won't get them a BCS game. There is always the Humanitarian Bowl.

I don't think anyone ever said they were afraid of joining a conference.
You need to get over your ND envy. It's kind of getting a little tiring. We all know they are bad this year. Your team has gone through some tough years. In fact, I bet you were one of the people who wanted Joe Pah out.
Everyone but ND fans are going crazy over their pathetic showing this year.
I hope Notre Dames non-supporters are loving it. I'm just weathering the storm and hope for improvements. In the meantime good luck with you lawsuit. I hope it works out OK.

This is exactly what I like to see. 3 to 4 losses is perfect. Nothing more or less. I just want them to do well enough for South Bend, not for the over-zealous people that think this school is the almighty untouchables.

This is exactly what a bunch of us were saying last night. He really needs to go back to the basics.
