Now if you are looking to go wire to wire somewhere, perhaps you should take another look at Sunriver. Who is possibly going to run with him? And if Sunriver doesn't float your boat, take a look at Sharp Susan in the GCBC. With only the slightest chance that Street Sound will go with her, she should be in front turning for home because I don't see anyone that wants 6f in the 1:10 she ran last time. She wont even need to go close to that to have a clear and easy lead and if that is the case, as it was in the Lake Placid and Herecomesthebride, she'll be pretty tough to mow down. The best part is...she 8 to freakin 1 on the M/L. Obviously, this is all just MHO. As a side note...GREEN MONKEY ALERT...looks like it could be next Saturday. We can only hope. |

[quote=NoLuvForPletch]Don't get me wrong, I love Ginger Punch today as well, but what could possibly make you think she'll go wire to wire? She's been in front after 1/4 mile once in her life and it was in her debut. I find it nearly impossible for her to make the lead with Take D' Tour and Teammate signed on, which actually fits perfectly into what she'll want to do and that is sit just off of the 2 speeds.
In think the race sets up perfectly for Miss Shop. Take D' Tour, Teammate & Ginger Punch will all go out together (Hopefully in blistering fractions) Miss Shop sits about 4 lengths off of the speed duel and pounces in the stretch. This may not happen, but if I can get 5-1 on Miss Shop I will take it over even money on Take D' Tour & Ginger Punch. |
