![]() Wow. It's the horse's first start in sixteen months, he apparently got a poorly-timed ride at a distance he's not meant for, and lost by a head. Yeah, what a pig.
You gotta be kidding with this. |

![]() Hmmm ... it seems like SOMEBODY ... I'm not sure who ... but SOMEBODY lost a big bet.
Yeah ... the ones who cost you money ... are all pigs. |

![]() beginning to wonder if BB will ever post something original, or of significant use. to be honest, i'd even settle for of less than significant use!
i thought DM looked good, while his jock did not. BB sure is hard to please tho--two horses who have earned hundreds of thousands of dollars and graded wins--yet he says they're crap. i think BB's opinions are worth that same thing.

Will someone explain to Danzig that I was poking fun at the poster who lost the bet ... not at the horse who lost the race? I'd explain it to him myself ... but he doesn't seem to be able to comprehend my posts. Thanks for helping out. |

![]() Declans Moon is not going to be fully cranked up his first time out. Why should he be? There are much bigger and better races to be fully all out for down the road. An allowance doesn't mean anything to the trainer or owners. It's essentially a regulation workout. Highly regarded horses coming off long layoffs are sometimes huge underlays coming into races like this. The public jumps all over them. This can be an exellent wagering oportunity for an astute handicapper who realizes this and plays against the big horse off a long layoff. The public will underestimate DM next time assuming he's not the same. That remains to be seen. He could still be a monster. Lets not forget trainer intention.

![]() Exactly. He wasnt given a "bad ride" either. You have to realize the jockey is going to do as little as possible in a nothing race like this to ensure the horse is fully set next time out. Anyone who bet him to win deserves to rip up a ticket.
