Two Indy nuts on one board? I know I've found a safe haven, then. I post on another board and I swear, you'd think Indy was the worse sire in the world (his offspring are plodders, etc......).

Jump Start was a gorgeous animal - as a baby, he looked like a stallion; I thought he was the spitting image of Storm Cat. His career after the Saratoga Special is vaguely fuzzy to me- did he run 3rd in the Hopeful? Anyway, he ran pretty well behind Officer in the Juvy -I had such high hopes for his future......sigh. Racing goes and tricks you into loving a horse, then takes him away. Seattle, I agree -thank goodness the horse just survived to be a stud. If I recall, it was a bad injury and he only survived because he had the class and temperment which allowed him to (that's not my opinion, I remember the vets commenting on this).
