The worry about Zambrano is that #1. He has logged alot of innings at a young age. #2 He is fat. That usually is a bad combination. Also troubling is that of his 10 most comparable pitchers in major league history, the top 3 Ramon Martinez, Dave Boswell, and Jim Maloney were all finished before 30. Of the others the only ones that were not are Pedro and Jake Peavy (who is still in mid 20's) |

You could argue Wells didn't log 200 innings til he was 32 however after he became fat and spent his early career as a part time starter and reliever saving his arm. Reuschel started going 200 plus at age 24 however and still lasted.

![]() Dodgers rallied in the 9th to take 3 out of 4 from the Cubs. That may not be rare for the cub bullpen, but pulling a game out in the 9th(from behind) is not normal Dodger activity(rare like a quake.) I'd settle for playing all the last 25 (or whatever is left) games against the Cub pitching. For some reason,it's a nice match-up for L.A..... On the other hand,we have no shot taking a meaningful series from the Cards,Padres,Mets etc.
