Interesting, if you go to page 2 of this forum and look at "honey bee news" and scroll down, you'll see that a while back I mentioned corn and soybean futures. Watch for big increases in many other crops that depend on pollinators (think apples, fruit concentrates, veg oils, on and on). |

The bee problem ain't Bush's fault, but I'm thinkin' it has something to do with their immune systems (kinda like aids -hiv) but on an entomological level. Food prices are going nuts, but it looks like the increases in fuel costs are being passed on, for what makes the tractors go, or the big rigs that deliver it to the stores. Labor disputes...down the line (when salaries don't come close to puttin' food on the table). Milk? Butter? Ice cream? Oh my! btw...the farmers ain't getting rich either. |
