![]() I stayed in that Sheraton, and thought it was plenty nice.
However for the price of cabs these days, you're better off looking for a rental car on Priceline or Travelocity - often as low as $15/day. |

![]() taxi info that could help you..... believe me on this, as I'm in and out of O'Hare alot and live about 1/2 way between there and Arlington Park.
do NOT take one of the taxi's from the cab line at O'Hare to anywhere in the Northwest Suburbs. They're all basically downtown cab companies and will charge you time and a half because they're ticked off about not going all the way downtown from the airport (typical fare to downtown is $50+, where suburbs is $20-30) The way to do it is to get to O'Hare and go to the courtesy phones in baggage claim (or use a cell phone when you get to baggage claim if you've got one) and call the cab company. Then you'll go to the 'pre arranged rides' section right outside of baggage claim and get the cab. If you do that, then it's a FLAT FEE to whatever suburb you're going to, regardless of traffic! I always use 303 taxi (847-390-1177), but American taxi (847-253-4411, or 847-255-9600 if you're at O'Hare) works the same way. By doing this, it will save you anywhere from $15-$30 EACH WAY and the wait to get the cab will basically be almost identical. |
