Who will be the lucky driver that all the Earnhardt fans are going to hate and throw crap at now that Gordon will be his teammate? It is a dark dark dark day for all of the Earnhardt fans. I hope they make him drive a rainbow colored Gummy Bears Car, the fans would S#*t themselves!

Same here!

now "Jr." has gone from "top dog" with DEI to 3rd stringer with Hendrick...can't see how this move will put him on top.

Hendrick technology is by far the best in NASCAR, they've been totally dominant with the COT as well as the old car, Jr's complaint was lack of technological support, he'll have it now. And, working with Gordon will make him a better driver...talent will rise to the top and Hendrick will have a three-way battle for top gun for years to come.

Working with Gordon will make him better? Jeff is a lousy teammate. It's always all about Jeff... this will not bode well IMHO.

While Hendrick technology is the best in NASCAR (right now), the #5 and #25 cars have not been afforded the same luxuries as the 24 and 48. That's a fact.

All of this garbage stems from the COT (which is a disgrace to the sport.) Hendrick is pretty much the only team that has figured it out so far, but it won't be that way forever. NASCAR thinks it is doing what it needs to do to survive. They are attempting to level the playing field with the car of tomorrow and by limiting multi-car team numbers. It ain't working.

I'm ashamed of the direction the sport is heading as are many of the team members involved more intimately with it.
