![]() Not only did he sign, it does indeed sound like Orlando is going to hold him to it. Timm... this is really strange. What does Orlando gain by holding him to the contract? Are they trying to change his mind again with the threat of losing $. That would be bizarre...
"Hi. I am Billy Donovan fresh out of coaching college. I am now your new professional basketball coach, but I really dont want to be here" That does not work for Orlando. He really has to go back to Florida. But is Orlando really going to try and go legal on him and hurt him monetarily? Florida will of course take him back with open arms, crying and sobbing. This is really an interesting story. |

![]() He can stay at Florida until he dies, if that's what he wants. If he went to the NBA he's make $10 Mil more over the next 5 years but most likely would have got fired after 2-3 years. Guess he figured 3.5 million a year is enough, especially since he'll have a job for as long as he wants.
I heard his wife didn't want to move. I blame her for the whole thing. |
