Any update on Lakeman's condition?

I'm still trying to find somebody who is at all interested in coordinating fans who want to help jocks that get injured. Especially, just after Barbaro, you'd think tracks would take advantage of fan willingness to participate. I personally sent something to the address posted (the hospital), with my fingers crossed, but I'm a bit disappointed that there isn't any response to my e-mails. Have not sent anything to Jockeys Guild yet. Is there still a Jockeys Guild?

There is the Don McBeth fund that helps support injured jockeys. I think we should all send wager or two their way every time we come home a winner. I have not but I will.

Update on Andrew. He has gone through surgery but has developed pneumonia. Chances of him walking again are slim. His parents are there with him. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
