Default Byron King's Selection/Analysis

Seventh Race

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Humble Janet 2. Le Chateau 3. Sumwonlovesyou

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

HUMBLE JANET earned some good numbers this spring at Oaklawn Park, and was claimed out of her last race for $30,000 by Asmussen. He shows confidence in her by starting her right back in allowance company at Churchill. LE CHATEAU ran a distant fifth in the Fair Grounds Oaks Mar 10, which followed a 10.5-length maiden triumph down there. She has trained quickly leading up to this race. SUMWONLOVESYOU held on for second in a $50,000 claimer here Apr. 29, losing by 1.25 lengths to Girls Pearls, a next-out winner in a first-level allowance.

Default Eliot Safdie's Closer Look..

Eliot standing against..

Sumwonlovesyou

Nearly wired $50K stock at the one turn mile and figures to be a strong pace factor in this lineup, but doubt she'll be able to clear them for a relaxed trip; much improved going turf to dirt, but not yet convinced she can handle the added ground going two turns and is more likely to back off her career best Beyer effort than advance her game to another level this time around; will try to beat her here.

I am not sure why he thinks that. Her sire and broodmare sire were both G1 winners going 10f, her dam was a multiple graded stakes winner at this distance (8.5f), and she seemed to have plenty of run left down the stretch in her last start despite getting pressed early.
I know it is hard for DTers to be objective about her, but it seems to me like this distance should be right up her alley.

Her TG sheet is screaming a move forward. She got one hell of a weight break IMO and if she listens to Willie, she will go 49 and steal this bitch.....

Sumwon's pattern is good. What do you think of Le Peaks?

That pattern is also strong, but this horse hasn't seen a real dirt track since Dec 06. I consider sloppy as turf racing Also getting 14lbs from here, which is like 10 lengths....we are not 10 lengths slowers then that horse

I think if she wins this, it'll be with a stalking trip. There's other speed.

I will be at the Downs today. Probably won't make it tomorrow because I have a wedding to mess with. If anyone's up there today, call or txt me at 314-307-2389. If someone could txt me the results after the race that would be cool, thanks.

You are off your rocker. she will be in front until she can't no more, no way she isn't going to try and go gate to wire. Unless Simon is up to some games : )

He's probably basing it on the speed and fade at 8.5f at Kee. A lot of people will look at that and say she's going to have problems getting the trip....we know better though.

So, the word must be out on your girl... Hopefully others listen to Eliot so we can grab a great price on her... Best of Luck Saturday, and hope she comes out of it in good form..

I downloaded Bris and the first thing I noticed was the revised odds.. 5-1 ? That s cks

anyway she is way down on the Prime Power with Le Chateau being a huge bonking number above the rest.

I find their projected pace numbers questionable

Yes, Sumwon would be 1-5 on the futures with this bunch of maniacs.

Just got back from Sumwons barn and she looks great. We are in for a great time on Saturday. I see were she is getting a little respect from some of the experts or what ever. Well come Saturday she will have her say and we will all be in that winners circle. Will enjoy some late racing tomrrow. See you there.
