Thought I read somewhere that Great Hunter was being pointed to the Belmont too.

I could roll with that...

Since this time he'd prolly be a lil closer to the pace, and Nakatani won't make an early, foolish, 10-wide move in the Belmont. I'm not sayin he wins the Derby or even finishes in the top-3. But I screamed at the tv when Nakatani made that move on Great Hunter. It cost him and a chance at a piece IMO.

what about the peter pan tomorrow. maybe a horse can run well and go to the belmont from there. fearless vision, Vitruvius, Sightseeing, & Soaring By all go tomorrow in the ppan

I dont think they run street sense in the belmont, just a gut feeling but the fall races offer alot more then winning the 1 million dollar belmont.

I agree. Come back again in three weeks off of this? I wouldn't. If there was more incentive, like a bigger purse or a bonus involved, that would be different. But when the purse is the same as other races later, I wouldn't.
