can't speak for steve, but i've seen this horse run in every one of his races. without looking at the pp's i am sure he has gotten beat pretty soundly each time he face 3y.o. and older conditions. I like this horse alot too and had him for a few nice scores, but he has to show me he can hang with older horses before he gets my support again.

Correct. He's 0-3 against older. His big fig win in October in the Calder Derby, he really beat nothing. In his other recent win, Axthelm 7.5F at Calder in Dec, he outfinished Fancy Silver and El Lobo (both at big numbers). Wolfson is unbelieveable when he ships but it's hard to like him.

Talent Search has been touched on before.

He doesnt need to be on the lead, hes extremely talented, and hes nowhere near how good he can get. The last effort isnt his top, thats a very very serious racehorse.

my pimlico bets for today (if I make it to the OTB)

DD Flashy Bull / Street Sense, Curlin

I like Street Sense and Curlin in the big race, I hope SS wins (for an exciting belmont) but I'll box it in an exacta (eventhough that may be a waste of a bet). I also dont think I like Hard Spun or CQ so I may play a $1 tri

SS and Curlin/SS and Curlin/CP West, Xchanger, KingoftheRoxy

oh yeah baby, $42 double, had it twice. I just wish CP west would have got up for 3rd, and Einstein would have won (and the breakdown not happened) then I would have got the p4 p3 and tri... but I was still up a bunch for the day! So much fun except RIP Mending Fences
