![]() Wow, Kinane put on a riding clinic.
He steals the Mile on the front end gradually rationing out the speed of Able One who ran each quarter faster then the last one. Then in the QE cup he waits in the rear during most of the race, saves all the ground, and times his charge beautifully on Viva Pataca. Vengeance of Rain may have run as well or better than Viva Pataca. the difference was at the break, they were both on the outside, Viva Pataca dropped back and found a nice spot close to the rail before the first turn. VOR was sent up around horses and was caught wide on the first turn while establishing his position up in third. To me it may have been the difference in the race. |
