I want you to look at where these 2 horses were when the announcer has finished saying ZARB...When he said "JAMES GRAHAM ON ST.ZARB,and Robby Alavarado on..."........Now look where (on the track) they finish up.This horse started coming out enough to intimidate this horse. It's the same thing Laffit did when he pushed John Henry out in the '82 Big CAP. This is New Orleans, and they aren't gunna take anybody down unless they knock somebody down.Means if your getting forced out, then you must hold your ground,or you won't get by.

Like I said, the horses do the running. It's not all jockey, as long as the jock gives the horse the best chance he can to win, I can't blame the ride. This is what happened here. And seriously Scuds, watch the other race he's talking about. What was wrong with that ride?
I am not saying he did anything wrong on Mystery Giver. He blew this ride in the 9th though. There is no hole to run in at the top of that stretch. He wastes some horse there (as well.)He had the better horse and was outridden.Simple as that.Either one of these 2 things(not trying to go through a hole that wasn't there,or not letting Graham float out on him with the Pincay Big Cap trick.) I don't particularly care that he didn't win,but he had the horse to win.Did not get it done, and didn't fight for it as hard as Graham did.The reason this horse doesn't go by is because he is anticipating this horse to keep coming out.Robby let this guy dictate where they were gunna end up on the track.

The title of this thread STILL has me laughing hysterically
But you could insert any jockey's name in there.

Scuds I cannot make a case for Hallway (Albarado) being the better horse; either through the use of the past perfromances or in the actual running. True Jimmy was whacking left handed but jocks generally hit with the opposite hand to where the challenge is coming. The winner (St. Zarb) is a nice horse but Robbie had a whole track to get by and was held. The winner has now won three in a row. BBB
