I think u want to see that a horse has speed to win races, can develop fast enough to win early, and can win in graded company. Ravel has done all three. I don't think he's as good as some others but with his pedigree and what he's already done, what more is there really to prove?

How about the ability to run 4 races without having your legs break? Might that be an important trait to pass on to his progeny?
