Beyer Speed figures are supposed to be adjusted for track variant and distance. In theory,a 95 Beyer at Blue Ribbon Down going 5 furlongs is equal to a 95 Beyer earned going 9 furlongs on the grass at Keeneland. In your example, the fist horse ran the faster time( about 1 length faster).
