I was partly joking but when we moved into a house a few years ago, there were several mice in the ceiling...we had cats and within a week...no more mice! Not sure how they got to them, all I know is they either packed up and left or provided a dietary suppliment!

Hahaha... some cats are good like that. Our best barn cat, Twiggy, would murder more rodents than any poison or trap. It was pretty disgusting when she'd bring me the remains that she didn't want, though. YUCK.

I don't know exactly what they're called but you could get a box trap and put a few acorns and/or cheese in it. Then drive to the country and let the little feller go.

bar bait for mice.
if it is squirrels, ya better get rid of them quick. they can do a lot of damage--love to chew on the wiring, and then you have a burned down house. you'd be surprised how many fires are caused by those dammed tree rats.

My cat died last April, when she was around the mice weren't...
this fall...the mice were back...
I've killed 23 and counting with traps so far.
