Whatever you do, you don't want to kill it and have its rotting corpse in your walls or ceiling.

Yes, most definitely... it happened to a friend of my mom's... they put poison out for the rat (or whatever it was) and it died in her walls. Absolutely horrid stench... no thanks.

Luckily, I've never had the above mentioned problem, Somer. (Only that friend of my mom's.) To be completely honest, I'm not much of a cat person myself. I think that every farm should have a few good barn cats, but for me, I'll pass on having them in my house.

I was partly joking but when we moved into a house a few years ago, there were several mice in the ceiling...we had cats and within a week...no more mice! Not sure how they got to them, all I know is they either packed up and left or provided a dietary suppliment!

Hahaha... some cats are good like that. Our best barn cat, Twiggy, would murder more rodents than any poison or trap. It was pretty disgusting when she'd bring me the remains that she didn't want, though. YUCK.

My cat died last April, when she was around the mice weren't...
this fall...the mice were back...
I've killed 23 and counting with traps so far.
Really miss my "Jitten"

The smell can't be as bad as randall's upper lip. He won't notice it.
