There was a pretty good $100k claiming story in DRF about two years ago. I forget which track but there was a horse who had four slip dropped on him. He broke down in the race and before the shake the trainers got together and said let's all just put in $25k and be done with this. Well, one trainer refused and he won the shake. LOL! Sad about the horse, but atleast the dummy trainer got his due...$100k was due!
