STS N4X means non-winners of 4 races lifetime other than maiden, claiming, starter, etc...

Has a horse EVER been claimed for over $100K? Why even bother writing the race w/claiming conditions? Nobody is going to think about claiming at that price. Just make it a classified allowance or overnight handicap.

There was one entered at CHD last meet I would have claimed for 100 but they scratched, and rightly so.

Yeah, if I recall correctly, Sadler claimed a horse at Del Mar last year for 125k, opening weekend. TVG guys were talking about how all the rich people want a horse for the Del Mar meeting and people come there with cash to piss away

At Hollywood this past summer Pure As Gold was claimed
for 100k by La Canada Stables and trained by Jack Carava.
His next start he won the 300k Bing Crosby Handicap at Del Mar

OK, so one AT $100K. But still haven't heard about any at over 100K. They had to scrape to get 6 horses in there; Romans and Orseno send out uncoupled entries and Spite the Devil looks like a filler.
