Ever been on a wet turf, when it's like the hard rock cafe. It ain't pretty. Talk about Black ice. Safty first, betters last.

BTW, you been at the Spa to many years to know we see that all the time up here. That's why I and maybe we, never play a late P4 if the weather buddy say's rain , or t storms coming.

If that was to happen in NY...the P4 would become a P3

That's the rule on the P6, I believe in the P4 the wager stays live.

The Pick-4 and Pick-6 are subject to the same rule in this situation.

Ok good. As of the Saratoga meet this was not the case and I'm glad they changed it.

Unfortunately they haven't rectified the gate scratch issue on the same wagers. It struck again today at Aqueduct, the 2 was the 2nd choice in the 5th, the starter did not release him properly, those with the 2 got put on the 10 which was nominally the favorite over the 1. I had the 1 and 2 so I was fortunate but those with just the 2 were unfairly penalized when the 10 ran second, and those with JUST the 10 would have been unfairly penalized if he had won as the price of the P4 would have been cut in half. Why can't they get this done??

I went back through my rants about it on the first Friday of the Saratoga meet, they had taken the race in question (9th) off the turf BEFORE the pick 4 started, however it was not posted on the website until after the sequence had started. I stand corrected.
