Even when Gomez stayed at Saratoga last year he rode 2nd call for pletcher rode less horses than JV but still won way more races. JV looked good for so long cause the stock he rode for Pletcher and when Gomez went East for Pletcher he exposed that fact

![]() i saw gomez ride all summer at saratoga, i missed 3 days the whole meet, he is a very good rider, but he does get horses in trouble alot, he also tends to move early and then be empty late.
