Just read the article at Blood Horse.
Tagg must really like him. Gold Fever (Forty Niner) stands at Metropolitan Stud in NY. Very reasonable fee. Imho, Spectacular bid wasn't a great broodmare sire. If you want to see what Gold Fever looks like, go to nybreds.com and click on Metropolitan's link on the right side. As far as Mr. Prospectors go, I like Gold Miner's Gold, my 3yo's sire. Same farm.
