my cousin has bred german shorthair pointers for 30 years. i used to travel weekends with them. the losing because of politics is tough to take after awhile.

![]() it's amazing what it takes to campiagn a dog to be #1 in the breed or #1 in the country .
my cousins are small breeders so they only have pups every couple years. they try to improve the bred and their bloodlines so they research before breeding. they are well respected on the east coast and have had many champions but to see what they went through to get back a couple years ago for the champion i mentioned, it was tough to watch. they ALL most had to pull her off the road.

![]() I've never watched 5 minutes of the WDS but the movie Best In Show was very funny.
My vote for prettiest dog though would go to the Akita, Husky or American Eskimo. |
