Dreaming of Anna is probably a very nice turf horse with a modicum of dirt ability and she certainly showed it today. You can cut it any way you want to but she has simply never run a particularly good race on the dirt. The fact is that there have been at least a dozen, and probably more, 3YO fillies to run at this Gulfstream meet, in just over a month, that are superior to the likes of Octave and Summer Blossom who finished behind Dreaming of Anna in her gift wrapped BC victory.

If someone wants to lie to themselves and call polytrack dirt, then I guess they can pretend a win in the Ashland is a major dirt win, but her legitimate dirt wins are behind her....assuming she ever really had them.

The good news is the better 3YO fillies are at least starting to show up. That, however, is bad news for Dreaming of Anna and her fans.
