It is either one of the two

1) they are going to scratch OR
2) it is a paid workout

Calabrese has been known to do **** like that, this would work into her pattern of works, and she has been working 6f for some time now.....

Whether Dreaming of Anna scratches or not, it must be noted that Dream Rush suffered one of the worst trips I've ever seen last time out. Bejarano tried fervently to save ground and effectively put himself in a box. He got race-ridden by Desormeaux all the way around the turn and into the stretch and the running was over by the time she got clear. I think she's a big play without DOA and should be considered even with the Eclipse champ in there.

Exactly as written, you got it. If I recall she broke slow and was beaten for the lead and then boxed. She got the rail again with some speed to her outside, with Bear Now and DOA and Secretsoftheheart. One thing that sticks out to me in the speed dept. is DOA race of JJuly 29th at colonial on the turf. E1/E2 are 21.2 / 43.4. Dream Rush simply drew a bad spot again as she prefers to stalk, if DOA shoots to the lead Bejarano will have to work out a better trip than he did last time again, while Secrets of the heart draws well in the 5 spot, again. DOA looks like a single to me now, we shall see how they look later on today.

If you think DoA will be beaten, there should be good value on the board. Calabrese's horses are always overbet in the win pool.

I dont know man, I agree with this for the most part, but I have caught a couple of his good winners over at Tampa(I am talking about 4/1 or better on Calabrese horses, unheard of, with Catalano's bro in law training.....

I don't know what to think about her, I like Calabrese's horse in the race before quite a bit, that horse is a half to Liz on Polk Street who was a minor stakes winner. Not a huge fan of Touch Gold as a sire but Catalano will have that horse ready.

If you toss Street Magician, I think their is some value in that pick three, even if you single DOA

Honestly, I completely disagree with you about Dream Rush and really think you would benefit from watching this race over again ( probably a couple times ). While Dream Rush did get herself into a package, she also got clear with plenty of time available and simply did not have the run to win the race. Personally I think this is a textbook example of overblown phony trouble. She was absolutely clear BEFORE the eighth pole and gained virtually no ground on the winner from there to the wire.

Now, what is possible is that she is a one way speed horse, and simply disliked rating. Since their plan failed last time I believe she will absolutely be sent today, and as inside speed has been good lately I don't think it will be shocking if she wins. However, with Dreaming of Anna in the race, it's possible we see a speed duel, though Dream Rush should be faster than her early.

Not saying she can't win today but I think Dream Rush's trip last time was not the reason she lost. It was either a problem with rating or that she wasn't good enough. Please watch it again.

I have no way to watch the replay and I remember solely from watching the race that day. If your opinion is she lost because she can't rate or isn't good enough that's fine. I think she faced the most adversity she ever has and being her first start of the year maybe she was a little short in the final eighth.

I'm also not ready to say she cannot be rated. The rail is a tough draw once again, but the speed signed on outside of her is much quicker IMO, so maybe Bejarano can be a bit better with rating in attempt #2. I've never been a Dreaming of Anna fan, but that's for another argument.

Good luck to you today!

He also said don't leave his other horse off your Magna 5 ticket.

I know you are just repeating what he says, but that horse is always LOW, I run out of fingers and have to go to toes when counting how many times that one horse has cost me a pick three ticket that I punched 10 times
