Scam Artist at my door

I hate this kind of stuff. I live in StL, and am in the urban environs quite often. The place I've encountered most scammers is in the grocery store parking lot.

Woman comes up in a frenzy, tells you her car is out of gas and the kids are in the car. They just need four or five bucks to get gas. So, the skeptic I am I say, ok, let me see your kids in your car and the container you're going to use to get gas. Sure enough, they've got that covered. Three kids in the car and a brand new container for gas. So, being the a-hole skeptic I am I say, ok, show me your gas guage. Sure enough pegged on E. So I give them $5. Big whoop, i feel like a hero. Same thing happens next week at the same store, different woman. And then a couple weeks later yet again!

Douche bags...that's just idiotic to lie and swindle people in front of your kids. One lady had her kid with her and she actually told me she needed gas money to take her kid down to the hospital for his cancer treatment. I hate to be rude, but, I don't even speak to them now.
