I agree with you that pedigrees don't always translate.... However, just because a trainer thinks a horse is best suited to a particular distance...doesn't always mean they are...and I think you'll agree with that as well. Sir Greeley, who's a confirmed sprinter/miler type, just missed running him down in the late stages of that mile race....I'd love to see this horse going 7/8ths, with a setup in front of him. |
