Default gun salute at Tampa tomorrow

the Mottster is spreading out to Tampa tomorrow, with Gun Salute entered in an Allowance race. I saw he was also nominated to one of the Gulfstream stakes, but guess he also needs a prep, but why ship to Tampa ? Whats he prepping for in 3-4 weeks ?

I think Gun Salute ran in the Pan American, a GP Grade 1 that Einstein won last year, and it was run the last weekend in February in 2006. I would assume that is the race.

Why ship to Tampa? He needs a race and it's not a far van ride. Gotta get a prep when and where you can.

Right, Cornelio making the trip too.
he ran in the feb 25,06 GPBC a G 1 last year not PanAm behind Einstein & Go Deputy. Just searched and found it though, same as last year, except last year the race was 1 7/16, now 1 3/8

Thanks, I looked at Einstein's pps and took the wrong race.

Pretty ridiculous that both those races are Grade 1s. Another example that there are way too many Grade 1s.
