i dont see a problem with somebody getting it. jerry bailey was probaly as big a student of the game as any1! his work didnt stop at the track, he also brought it home with him. racing did a nice job of bending him over with the eclipse and instead gave it to johnny v, bailey kicked his a$$ in%. brooklyn tracker musta been very influential there

You are giving him WAY too much credit.

For a jockey, Bailey was as big a student of the game as anyone.

The vast majority of jockies are mongoloid's who habitually under prepare and repeat the same mistakes over and over.

To Bailey's credit---he was the very rare jockey who had developed handicapping skills...and almost always seemed well prepared.

To make him out to be an authority on handicapping---as his DVD ads do--that's a little bit comical.

However, he was just about as good as jockies get...and I also think he does a pretty good job as a broadcaster.
