there are just plain too many graded races. there shouldn't be that many, make the ones that exist that much more meaningful--as well as make it mean something regarding graded earnings and getting into the ky derby.
also, the bc juvie is TOO LONG. compare the juvie race distances to the classic and distaff. ridiculous!

I think most people agree that there are too many Graded Races. I also believe we have talked about this before as well.

92 Beyer for Notional. 95 for Hard Spun in the Lecomte. Bold Start and Cowtown Cat each got 92's for their allowance wins at Gulfstream.

Looks like Notional will take the Louisiana route. Haven't heard anything on Great Hunter yet.

it was in the TDN today that he was pointing for the Ark. Derby...has something changed?

They just said Louisiana on HRTV maybe 5 mins. ago so I'm really not sure. I have no inside info on this horse so HRTV may be incorrect.

well the TDN piece said that o'neill wanted him to go to Arkansas...but that it hadn't been finalized with the owner yet...so I guess either one could be correct.

so, are there too many across the board? or too many for a certain segment, say, three year olds?
i know we've all made blanket statements about the total #....

Yeah, I'm confused now as well. lol. O' Neil just said in an interview not sure with Notional so I have no clue.

I personally think there are too many across the board. I have no clue how the committe is formed.
