by offering pony rides in the paddock and photo opps with the stars (both equine and human)...expand all of the pomp and fluff and do not maintain the substance...
maybe there should be an opportunity for the fans to pet the runners before a race too...

They can already go to the Carolina Bar-B-Q for all that....AND MORE!

I don't know that riding in a golf cart with shrek and donkey is what most tourists have in mind for the summer @ saratoga...

You know how they have those trivia games at bars and you are able to change your answer for lesser points during the game for each question. They should do that in racing. You have up until the final furlong to change your bet for lesser odds. So if the horse is 2-1 at post, and you decide to change your bet with 1 furlong to go, you now get 3/5 on the horse. Now that would be cool.

I wasn't saying that it was a positive or ground-breaking poll, just that I was surprised by the results and you're right, it reflects who is visiting the site.
