1200 2400 hundred blinds 200 ant....she was not on any blind called 7500(with maybe 15 total in her stack) with 2 3 suited and then stayed, i usually can go and play 1 2 cash games and win my buy in because of people jus like that. That time it didnt work , horrible call no other way around it. (

that was not cheap at all, it was half of her stack on 2 3. at that point of the tournament the blinds get to high because the the casino wants to get the tournament over, and there was ten people so it takes a good hand to win 10 handed. very frustrating You think half of her stack 10 handed with 2 3 is cheap?

obviously she was the only 1 who was in the hand with you but that low raise invites alotta players to get into the hand with you. 3 for 4 others with you no matter what the others are holding and your% on those cowboys shrinks huge

the raise was half of her stack and she was not commited to the hand what so ever...i jus dont see how you consider half your stack to be a low raise. I know that 2x the BB seems small but when these tourneys reach the final table the blinds are high and raise so quick (casino wants it over so you can lose at something else) that your BB and 2x that raise is extermely high. sorry if this story is buggin you but that was extremely expensive to call on 2 3

lol im not disagreeing with you it was a awful call. but you mentioned the blinds were high and in that case theres nothing wrong at all with raising big and just picking up the blinds at that point in the tournament. when you dont raise enough even if you wind up only heads up in a hand with a opponent its sometimes extremely difficult to put them on a hand and guage what 2 cards they may potentially be holding

Playa,
You got me thinking about getting back into poker.
The stack, raising big, put them on a hand...may potentially be holding...and heads up in a hand. I'm luvin' it! Wow!
