It's certainly not the event CD/NYRA put on but I actually think these cards are pretty intriguing from a handicapping/betting point of view....of course outside the Oxbow year I tend to not have much success at Pimlico...I'm going to tread lightly but take a few swings. I definitely think Clever Again is the right horse to take a shot against Journalism with. Not too sure on the price but I really liked that last effort...the fresh horse angle is pretty tried and true...not a big River Thames or Sandman fan so my thought it to try to keep them out under in the verticals, use Journalism defensively and try to get Pay Billy/Gosger into the number (will probably also use Goal Oriented somewhat defensively as I think he's the other main challenger if maybe Baffert was targeting this all along and probably has a ceiling as high/higher than any of these)...
