It can be very difficult to make a morning line and some linemakers are better at it than others. Having said that, I have to say that I can't understand much of the rationale underlying the ML for the Arlington Million (race 10 on our card), now residing at Colonial Downs after a brief stop at Churchill.

While I don't pretend that I could do any better, I plan to compare the actual off odds of this race to the ML projections, and predict that the betting public will play this race very differently than the linemaker projects. Not just the odds, but the way the entrants are ranked left me scratching my head.
