![]() Joly B is actually Saturday's winner. He had 4 winning grand slam tickets each worth $4.80 for a total of $19.20. His base wager was $8 so that comes out to $153.60 and the win. I was basing his total on a $1 bet.

![]() That Grand Slam is a confusing wager and not one we encounter all that often so easy to see how a mistake could be made, but it's all corrected now, so kudos to Joly.

![]() Real Quiet, thank you very much for reviewing the scoring on my admittedly quirky bet. I don't know who at NYRA dreamed it up, but I find it tantalizing to structure. I keep dreaming of playing a 3x3x3x1 ticket and hitting all 27 potential combinations. Hopefully I'll do that at a NYRA track for real $$ and where they have a mainframe computer to do the calcs, and not burden you with that.

![]() My theory is "it couldn't happen any other way". I made up a spreadsheet today to score the Grand Slam. Of course I made the base wager a dollar so there you go. The best layed plans of mice and men often go astray.

![]() It goes to show that you don't know me that well. I know how to spell. I also knew it would illicit a response from you.
