![]() Park Side is actually in Corona, right across the Grand Central Parkway from the '64 World's Fair (Flushing Meadows).. Visit the Queens Museum if you're in that vicinity which houses the incredible Panorama of the City of New York, an exact scale replica of the city. The iconic Unisphere of course there as well.
It's Italian first as far as I'm concerned when by Belmont.. Everyone hears us collectively talk about King Umberto's because it's a racetracker hangout and we're very close to the owners Rosario & Ciro and their families, but it's just one of the options. Further up Hempstead is Filomena's which is exquisite.. A bit away from the track but well worth the effort for Italian is 388 in Roslyn. If you make your way in that direction and want steak, there's Bryant & Cooper in a famed Middle Neck Rd. ('The Miracle Mile') location that at one time housed Manero's (which is still in Syosset). Will get you some Floral Park options like Stella's and more later today..
