Catching up with two past weeks. Cal828 hangs tough in the place spot while JolyB stays close behind. Ruffian makes a big jump of two spots now on the 4th rung of the ladder asZippy slides down to the 6 hole. Digger gains nice pts for scores on both days keeping his 6 spot warm as Plenilune scores big with a SWEEP gobbling up big ground moving into the top 10 in the 8 hole and Cruzan200246 in comfy still on the 9th rung of the ladder.

I'll try to be better at keeping up with the totals but real life needs call me more than ever before, so I'll be taking some time away from participating much at all. Cal828 hits a nice win in ROI and hangs tough in the two hole while JolyB takes minor honors in Pts and remains on the 3rd rung of the ladder. Ruffian lands whopper points with a REPEAT win in Pts moving up ever so close to JB. Zippy also takes minor honors in Pts and hops over RQ to capture the 5 hole and Eclipse grabs a nice pocket full of points with a show spot in both contests and moves up to the ninth rung of the ladder. Thats it for this showing and as we move closer and closer to Derby Day!!!

Cal828 is sharpening his pencil leading into Triple Crown weeks nailing a REPEAT win in ROI (Nice) and climbs much closer to the predominant leader DG while JolyB is feeling his oats as well with nice win in Pts and 2nd in ROI. Ruffian hangs tough in the 4 hole with a 2nd in Pts and Alli (god to ya back) nabs a 3rd in Pts to help her totals. Real Quiet grabs minor honors with a 4th in Pts.

On to The Kentucky Derby, FINALLY . . . and the card looks daunting!!! Ga'luk to all on the Derby Card and thanks for playing.

Something doesn't seem quite right. I won the ROI on the 16th and the repeat on the 23rd and the 3peat on the 30th, but I only see two wins here, but must admit my math skills are not the best. Do these totals not include April 30 or is it April 23?

Points and ROI Totals Through May 7,2022

Well with double points for Derby Day lets see how this all shakes out. Cal828, with very strong showings lately,climbs high up next to DG to challenge for the lead as JolyB adds nicely to his totals but now sharing the third rung of the ladder with Ruffian who nail the win on Derby Day. Real Quiet advancing to the 5th rune of the ladder, has a big day jumping over Zippy and Digger to nab the 5 hole and Plenilune also move up to the 8 spot.

So Ruffian and Cal828 will be getting one of Don Guido"s extra large famous Eeely Eeely good Hudson River eel pizzas, to arrive hot and fresh on there back porch by noon tomorrow and with extra anchovies for the Colorado Kitten.

Ruffian scores well in both contests and takes over the third rung of the ladder from JolyB who does the same hitting in each contest still losing a little ground. Digger nabs the win in Pts and scores as well in ROI. All pts getters in both contest and let's not overlookAlli adding to her totals with a 3rd in Pts.

PS - DonGuido has been very quiet lately while many are warming up and nipping away at his lead, one named Cal828 for sure. It's still very early in the year so it's anyone's game (contest) as we have seen so many times before.
