If the industry cares at all about the group of people that fund their sport they’ll figure out a way to get some money back into our pockets. That won’t happen tho and this is totally unacceptable. It’s be like flopping black jack and the dealer saying the Ace doesn’t count because there was a crease in it. I’m going to sit out tomorrow after today (probably not).

Worst gambling beat I have ever had in my life. I’m going to drink away my sadness.

What they did at DelMar was totally avoidable and almost criminal. The 1 horse was scratched because apparently someone associated with the track screwed up and as a result they screwed a lot of horse players costing them a lot of money. Sure everyone understands the rules for horizontal wagers but my God this is not 1970 we have programmers Ann’s computers and when a horse is scratched there are fairer more equitable ways to handle such situations. For example refunds for live tickets or possibly have backup horses selected if one is scratched after sequence had started and not give someone a horse they have don’t want. But no racing continues to shoot themselves in the foot….when I first started to attend racing my friend had a saying about days at the track like yesterday …. “ l see it is f&$# the fan day today at the track.”

This is the Life At Ten debacle in reverse.
They let her run when she clearly looked unfit/unhealthy on the track & screwed those who bet on her (like me).

Yesterday they scratched a perfectly healthy horse & then reinstated him, and screwed those who bet on him (like me).
