Points and ROI Totals through July 17,2021
DonGuido, feeling his oats, lands a SWEEP and CATapolts to the lead hitting the 300 mark while appearing to RUFFle the fur of our Colorado kitten Ruffian with her 2nd in Pts now in the two hole, Cal828 add nicely to his totals with a 3rd in Pts and Real Quiet captures minor honors jumping up to join Plen on the 4th rung of the ladder. And Digger adds to his coffer hitting a 2nd in ROI. Off to The Spa again to what's in store for us there. The weather report I see says sunny in the AM with possible showers in the afternoon . . . typical summer day in the Adirondacks. As a side note points totals are way down this year. This time last year Cal828 had a total of 483 pts for the lead and the three behind him all had over 300 pts. Interesting??? The Spa beat us down this week and may continue to as DonGuido added minor honors to his leading total and Ruffian did the same in each contest standing pat in 2 hole. Plenilune hit a nice ROI win and a minor add in Pts while Real Quiet nailed the win in Pts and a runner up spot in ROI to jump over Plen now holding on to the 4th rung of the ladder. JolyB nabs a 2nd in Pts hanging tough in the 6 hole. Thanks for playing and we'll see where RQ takes us next, likely The Spa again which is OK by me. DonGuido scores minor pts maintaining a slim dwindling lead as Ruffian moves ever closer as she continues her feline magic act with a big win in ROI and 2nd honors in Pts. Real Quiet pulls down a REPEAT in Pts and all those nice bonus pts and jumps over Cal to take on the third rung of the ladder. Plenilune add to her totals with a nice 3rd in Pts and Digger tallies a 2nd in ROI adding to his stash as well. A quick update (real life really got in the way this week), DonGuido hangs tough on the lead with Ruffian nipping ever closer at his heals as Real Quiet lands a nice win in ROI and is strong on the 3rd rung of the ladder. Cal 828 adds nicely to his totals with scores in each contest and JolyB adds to his spot holding in the 6 hole. Lets see how Arlington Park treats is. DonGuido, with his unusual success in wagers this years, gets the ROI win and adds a 3rd in Pts to widen his lead a little . . . as Ruffian gets nipped at the wire yielding a 2nd in Pts for her efforts still keeping DG in her cross hairs. Cal828adds to his coffer with minor honors in Pts and Plenilune brings 2nd place pts in ROI. And Cruzan-200246 hits the win in Pts adding nicely to his totals. Well our handicapping year draws closer to the end . . .with little over a couple of months away from The Breeders Cup and another Gallivan Cup to award.
