Points and ROI Totals through June 19,2021
Ruffian wins points in Pts and taps DG on the shoulder climbing ever closer tot he lead and Plenilune has a very nice day with a win in ROI and 3rd in Pts hanging tough on the 4th rung of the ladder.JolyBchanges places with RQ jumping back into the 5 hole and Digger continues to add nicely to his totals in the 7 spot. And Alli takes in minor honors to add to her pocket as well in the 8th slot. Off to Churchill Downs to run barefoot through the blue grass, hopefully to the success of many. Ruffian takes over the lead bringing home a load of oats with a REPEAT in Pts jumping over DonGuido nailing a 2nd in both contests. Cal828 grabs minor honor with a 3rd in Pts and 4th in ROI and JolyB does the same with a 4th in Pts. Digger keeps his hot streak going with a nice win in ROI as Indian Hemp gains 3rd place pts in ROI. Let's see where our Colorado kitten takes us for another challenging card and see if she can pull off the coveted THREE PEAT. Points and ROI Totals through July 3, 2021
Ruffian continues as the leader adding a 3rd in Pts and DonGuido (having a bad case of second-itis) hangs tough on the second rung of the ladder. Cal828 gains ground on the toppers with a nice Pts win and Plenilune adds minor honors with a 4th in Pts. JolyB breaks the 200 points level with a 3rd in Pts and Real Quiet moves ever closer to that total with an excellent win in ROI. So lets see how Saturday's Belmont card works for all of us as we get ready to move up the Hudson to the little piece of Heaven called Saratoga. As we move into racing at the Spa, a sign that summer is drawing close to fall but the temps will fool many of us. Ruffian keeps hold on the lead with minor points in in both contests as DonGuido moves a little closer to the Colorado kitten still in the two hole. DonGuido, feeling his oats, lands a SWEEP and CATapolts to the lead hitting the 300 mark while appearing to RUFFle the fur of our Colorado kitten Ruffian with her 2nd in Pts now in the two hole, Cal828 add nicely to his totals with a 3rd in Pts and Real Quiet captures minor honors jumping up to join Plen on the 4th rung of the ladder. And Digger adds to his coffer hitting a 2nd in ROI. Off to The Spa again to what's in store for us there. The weather report I see says sunny in the AM with possible showers in the afternoon . . . typical summer day in the Adirondacks. As a side note points totals are way down this year. This time last year Cal828 had a total of 483 pts for the lead and the three behind him all had over 300 pts. Interesting??? The Spa beat us down this week and may continue to as DonGuido added minor honors to his leading total and Ruffian did the same in each contest standing pat in 2 hole. Plenilune hit a nice ROI win and a minor add in Pts while Real Quiet nailed the win in Pts and a runner up spot in ROI to jump over Plen now holding on to the 4th rung of the ladder. JolyB nabs a 2nd in Pts hanging tough in the 6 hole. Thanks for playing and we'll see where RQ takes us next, likely The Spa again which is OK by me.
