![]() Laurel and Gulfstream... not very much of a difference in quality, at least any day but Saturday.
Gulfstream use to be the premier winter meet but in the last few years notice all their very good racing seems to be packed into 1 day a week- Saturdays. Saturdays are blockbusters but the other 5 days have grown pretty bad. I dont know about you guys, but I sure like Sundays for horse racing. NY does it right. |

![]() I think they follow the NYRA schedule. When NYRA tracks are open, simulcast is open. Now if Aqu cancels because of bad weather, simul will be open, but thats the only exception.
This place use to be great when Chariots was open for simulcast during the day. Now Fortunes only opens at night, so the only place to go is the side that looks like one big OTB. They should really do something nice to this place for day simulcasting. You can only hear the volume on one TV. |
